1. Eligibility, age requirements & account security

Snug is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. Persons under 18 are not permitted to create accounts, access, or use Snug. You agree to provide accurate information, including accurate age information, and to maintain the security of your login credentials. We may use age assurance, identity verification, account review, or related safety measures to confirm eligibility and protect the platform. If we believe a user is underage or has misrepresented their age, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate access without notice where appropriate.

2. Identity & verification

Snug operates as a high-trust network. To maintain integrity and reduce fraud, we may require identity verification through approved third-party providers such as Didit or Signicat. You authorize us to use verification outcomes and related verified attributes needed to operate the service. Attempts to bypass, spoof, falsify, or misuse identity information may result in access restrictions, suspension, or account termination.

3. User content, reporting, blocking & moderation

You retain ownership of content you upload or submit, such as photos, profile details, messages, reports, and other material, but you grant us a limited license to host, process, display, moderate, and use that content as necessary to operate, secure, review, and improve Snug. You agree not to upload, store, request, solicit, share, promote, or distribute content or behavior that violates these Terms, our policies, applicable law, or platform safety standards. Snug may provide in-app mechanisms for users to report content, accounts, messages, or conduct, and to block other users. We may investigate reports, review content and account activity, remove content, restrict visibility, disable features, preserve relevant records, or take account-level enforcement action where appropriate.

4. Child safety, CSAE & CSAM

BlackSite Labs and Snug have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation ("CSAE") and child sexual abuse material ("CSAM"). You may not use Snug to create, upload, store, access, request, solicit, transmit, share, promote, facilitate, or distribute CSAM or any content or conduct that sexually exploits, abuses, endangers, or attempts to exploit a child or minor. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation, grooming, sexualization of minors, sextortion, trafficking of a child for sexual purposes, predatory behavior toward minors, or any attempt to use Snug to facilitate such conduct on or off the platform.

If we obtain actual knowledge of suspected CSAM or other child safety violations, we may remove or disable access to the content, preserve evidence where appropriate, report the matter to law enforcement, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and/or relevant national or regional authorities as required or permitted by applicable law, and immediately suspend or terminate the related account or access. We may also take action against accounts that attempt to evade safety enforcement or that use Snug in a way that creates risk to minors.

5. Guardian and location tools

Guardian and related location features are optional safety tools. If you enable them, you explicitly consent to the processing of live or recent location information, emergency contact details, and alert events so those workflows can function. Snug is not an emergency service and does not replace police, ambulance, or local emergency response.

6. Subscriptions, trials & billing

Snug may offer trials, clearance tiers, subscriptions, and in-app upgrades. Current pricing, billing intervals, trial length, and key commercial terms will be shown before purchase. Unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. To avoid renewal, cancel through Apple App Store or Google Play at least 24 hours before the current subscription period ends. Billing, refunds, and subscription management are handled by the relevant platform and subject to that platform's policies, except where local law requires otherwise.

7. Privacy, biometrics & data handling

Your use of Snug is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the GDPR, UK GDPR, and Norwegian privacy law where applicable. Biometric verification data and identity documents are primarily processed by approved identity partners. We may also process reports, moderation records, enforcement data, and related safety information to investigate abuse, protect users, enforce these Terms, and comply with child safety and other legal obligations.

8. Suspensions, restrictions & appeals

We may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate access where necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, enforce these Terms, or respond to fraud, impersonation, harassment, stalking, illegal conduct, child safety risks, or security threats. Where immediate removal is necessary for safety, child protection, legal, or platform-integrity reasons, we may act without prior notice. Unless immediate removal is required, you may appeal an account suspension or restriction within 30 days of notice by contacting support@blacksitelabs.cc.

9. Governing law & disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Norway, to the extent permitted by applicable law. If mandatory consumer-protection rights in your home jurisdiction apply, those rights remain unaffected. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to first contact support so we can try to resolve the issue in good faith.

10. Changes to these Terms & notices

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When changes are material, we may notify you by email, by in-app notice, or by both methods. Continued use of Snug after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
